KIDS ACTIVITIES IN PORT ELGIN
There's Always Something to do in Port Elgin!
Park your car, get settled in and let the fun begin right out front of the hotel with wide eyed amazement at our expansive sandy beach. Strolls through the neighbouring harbour to view the wide variety of water craft, beach fries, icecream cones and lots of trails for leisurely strolls or biking make Paradise Inn the perfect location for family fun and creating more happy memories.
Port Elgin Lions Club Splash Pad

The Port Elgin & District Lions Club Splash Pad just beyond the harbour features 18 water features, in three separate zones for children of varying ages and abilities.

The fully accessible splash pad will be open, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from late June through Labour Day, and on weekends in mid June and September.
Saugeen Shores Rotary Skate Park
​
Saugeen Shores Rotary Skate Park is home to 12,000 square feet of formed concrete; including ledges, curbs, rails, a quarter pipe with wall, an open bowl, pole jam, up gap and more!
​
Wear your helmet when you try out this hot spot for bikers, boarders and bladers. The Park was designed by New Line Skateparks in association with van der Zalm and Associates, both from Vancouver BC. It's located on Wellington street, beside the BMX Track and the Police Station in Port Elgin.
Sunset Family Fun Centre

Looking for some fun quality time with the family? Sunset Family Fun Centre won't disappoint! Strap on some bowling shoes for some family fun. Don't have them? Use ours!

5 pin bowling, pool tables, cosmic mini golf, arcade games, snack bar, licensed lounge & patio. Whether it getting together with a group of friends, spending some time with the family or throwing a party - they're here to help, just give them a call!
Beach Volleyball
Bring your ball and enjoy a fun family and friends game of beach volleyball. Not enough players? Ask new beach friends to join in the fun and create more lasting fun beach memories.
Fishing

Fishing along the shore has restrictions but the nearby Saugeen River is noted for good fishing for bass, perch, lake trout, pike and salmon.
Bruce Power Visitor Centre

The Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre is currently closed due to COVID-19.
During this time, we have decided to keep the facility closed and focus on some renovations to the Centre.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while these renovations take place and we look forward to sharing our public facility as a world-class destination when it reopens.
